Welsh Cobs are the largest of the four sections of the Welsh breed and the largest of the native breeds, having no upper height limit. They are strong hardy and active with free and powerful action, and possessing substance yet retaining pony character.

They are totally versatile. Burnmoor Cobs perform in all equestrian disciplines: dressage, showing, working hunter, show jumping, cross-country, hunting, long distance and driving, as well as being fun family horses.
